Mom'a away. And I think she took my willpower away with her too. Which I guess explains why I am here.

Oh. My. God. The sec4s got "Girls" as their one-word composition topic. What's there to write? And we got "Paradox". Hello, I don't even know what it means. Speaking of English, it's totally phail. Don't understand what the passage was talking about.

Anyway I'm supposed to be doing social studies. Social studies is so much more fun than the primary school syllabus. Probably because it's counted for the exams and we're paying attention to it and start appreciating everything that the world is going through or has gone through.

Oh, MOE is debating whether or not to lower the weightage of Chinese for PSLE. What?! You said you want us to be on par with China's Chinese so that we could enter the China's industry but here you are considering lowering the weightage of Chinese? Isn't that ironic? Plus we're Chinese, if we focus more on English than our Mother Tongue, everyone can convert become angmoh alr. Singapore is already starting to lose its unique-ness, everything is so modernized it looks like another typical city. Minus off the Merlion, is there anything that represents us? If English is being emphasized everyone will lose its roots and culture and Singapore will lose it's diversity of culture. And we're only nothing more but a money making country. So what if we're first class, we don't have any culture. We don't have anything to be proud of except our economy.

Anyway, I read in the news that there's an angmoh that describe Singaporeans in a way that's real true. We all should think about what he/she said.

"We spent a lot of money purchasing a big house, but end up letting the maid live in it.
We spent money buying expensive car, but take public transport instead because we think the ERP is too expensive.
We are always complaining about our government, but in the end we still trust them the most.
People from overseas and all fighting to emigrate to Singapore yet we bought properties overseas and plans to live overseas."

Kinda true huh?

Jieyi's done with SS. And I'm not even done with one blog post.

Ok, shall end with an inspiring quote!

"All work and no play makes HaiXuan a dull girl."
Yes I know, that is not inspiring. I have more to say! :)
"All play and no work makes HaiXuan a stupid girl."

Now that is so inspiring I think I will go and study my life away until I am a dull girl. Yippee yippee yay. I just love being a dull girl.

Anyway, I'm very interested in Audrey Hepburn nowadays. I don't know why, her name sounds so nice. I don't even know how she looks like. Heck, she could be dead for all I know. Angmohs have such cool names. Like, Angelina Jolie. 5 syllabus! You can't find a chinese name with 5syllabus. Maybe I'll go marry an angmoh and give my child a name that twist tongue, like..peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Or whatever that rhymes. Can't believe I used to want to name my daughter Lingerie. Actually I still want to name my daughter that! It's such a girly name. Only the meaning is kinda dumb.

Who knows papaya soup could be so delicious?
